Bio

Alexis Price is an American contemporary oil painter whose work explores mythology, spirituality, trauma, healing, and the reclamation of power. Her paintings inhabit the space where beauty and the monstrous become inseparable, creating feminine figures that embody resilience, transformation, and the sacred. Often using herself as a model, Price weaves personal experience into mythic narratives, inviting viewers to see survival not as an ending, but as the beginning of a new form. Through luminous symbolism and dreamlike imagery, her work asks what becomes possible when we stop fearing the darkness and learn to transform it instead.
